FLIO began with a simple observation: a laptop stand should be as portable as the laptop itself.
The original FLIO Stand was designed by Vlad Butucariu and crowdfunded in 2014, followed by FLIO UP in 2016, again with a successful crowdfunding campaign.
ALTO and AIR are the newest patented second generation, made for how mobile work has evolved.

FLIO uses precision-cut bamboo and puzzle-like construction to create rigid working forms from pieces that pack almost completely flat.
